Yes that's right, being at the age of two weeks, our new baby daughter, Lucy attended her first festival at the Michigan Renaissance Festival last Sunday. Not many pictures was taken but the one of me with Lucy is in my avatar there.
Surgery went well, healing up with little sore bits here and there. My body is back to normal now but also missing Lucy's movements in my tummy too. :) But I have my baby. :)
We are going back on the 28th for closing weekend, so if anyone wants to meet up, please let me know.
Well one more day and counting and I shall be giving birth ot our new baby daughter by c-section on early Monday morning, We have decided to call her Lucy Elizabeth Anne being as the whole name is British and I am British, her middle name is also names after my eldest sister without the e on the end of Ann.
To those who are attending MIRF on the 7th of September, we shall look forward to seeing you all with our new bundle of joy and yes she will be in her own costume too. :)
That's right, I am so tired of seeing weeks now as I have this terrible feeling that the next 3 weeks of my remaining pregnancy is going to drag and I just hate that. So instead, I have another 23 days to go until my baby daughter shall arrive, as you lovely dear, faire people have 14 days to go until MIRF begins.
My, this year has flown by so quickly and not long ago, I only found out that I was expecting. Well now it's four weeks away from my surgery day to give birth to our baby daughter whose name shall be, Lucy Elizabeth Anne. My husband and I wanted a name that was more english than american being as I am British and he American of course. She is also named after my eldest sister except with out the e on the end of Ann. So I am hoping these weeks will fly by soon and during this time, I have to get cracking on my green and gold gown that I am making for the first time.
For those who will be able to attend Michigan Renaissance Festival on the 7th of September, we shall be there with little Lucy but shan't arrive until around about noon. Feel free to look out for us, I will have a green tartan pram (baby carriage) which I have had for 7 years nearly. We shall look forward to seeing those who knows us.
The kids finished school yesterday and today and the weather today is very muggy and hot. Nice breeze so I can't complain on that one. My daughter goes back to summer school in a few weeks time to the end of July, so she gives me break and just have to deal with my son who isn't really a problem, only when they both are each other's throats.
Well I am nearly 28 weeks into my pregnancy, baby Lucy is moving around a lot which feels great except when she pokes in certain areas which can be a pit uncomfortable, then when that day comes of being 28 weeks, I will only have 11 weeks to go. Poor me to go through all this during the summer but I know it will fly by. I have many things to do and that are happening from this month to the day I give birth to our baby daughter. Starting with my last monthly baby clinic appointments, they will change to fortnightly appointments then summer school for my daughter, going baby shopping with a friend, birthdays, wedding aniiversary, Silverleaf and getting two dresses made, one for my unborn baby for MIRF in September, the other for me, more knitting, making some jewellery, making skirts for my other daughter that she requested, family reunions and many other things like getting all school stuff sorted out in time for September and the most important thing, is filing forms for our new 10 year green cards before they expire in November. We must do these 90 days before then or we go back to England. :( Don't want that happening do we.
Then, I think ot myself, am I going to get all of this done within these months and preparing my hospital bag ready for when I give birth and making sure I have everything, I truly hope so. I'm person who tends to worry if I'm going to get all the stuff done that I need to get done.
